About the group:
transversalis.production emerged from the artistic collaboration of the two contemporary dancers and choreographers, Christa Stöffelbauer (AT) and Deborah Manavi (DE), who met during their contemporary dance education at SOZO Visions in Motion (Kassel), where they had already worked together in various projects. In 2021 they decided to intensify their joint work and founded the group transversalis.production. Since then they collaborated in the works fragmentme & transcendere (artistic direction Deborah Manavi) and WHERE WE MEET (art director Christa Stöffelbauer). Both artists also work solo and in collaboration with others as dancers and choreographers. In their joint work they deal with socio-political themes and questions of individuality and togetherness. Their latest production solmussa was created in collaboration with the choreographer Aura Antikainen (FI).
